Fall Makeup Look: Bonfire

227

I felt like doing another Fall makeup look this weekend. You can see last week’s look here if you missed it. This week, I was feeling inspired by bonfire’s, so I tried to incorporate that into the look.

Here are the products I used:

  • Makeup Revolution – Pro Base Blur Primer
  • Makeup Revolution – Eye Primer
  • Chella – Eyebrow Cream in shade Tantalizing Taupe
  • NYX – BB Cream in shade Nude
  • NYX – No Filter Finishing Powder in shade Alabaster
  • Mannakadar Beauty – Blush in shade Paradise
  • ColourPop – Highlighter in shade Glazed
  • Make Up For Ever – Mascara
  • Makeup Revolution – Selfie Eyeshadow Palette
  • Makeup Revolution – Love the Revolution Palette
  • Shany – Color Rainbow Eyeshadow Palette

I did not use any lipsticks or lip creams. I used eyeshadows instead to represent smoke and ash.

Witchy Vibes

199

There’s still a little less than a week left until the Autumnal Equinox, but I am getting really excited for Fall and could not resist dressing up and doing a Fall makeup look. I started out with clear gloss on my lips and then vamped it up a bit with a darker lip color. The main items I used included BH Cosmetics’ Wild & Radiant Palette, Makeup Revolution’s Love the Revolution palette, and ColourPop’s Matte Lip Cream in shade Viper, which are pictured below. Other items I used that aren’t pictured include NYX BB Cream in shade Nude, Makeup Revolution’s Eye Primer, Makeup Revolution’s Pro Base Blur Primer, Chella’s Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Cream, Ciatรฉ London’s Wonderwand Gel Kohl Eyeliner, Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, Maybelline’s Shine Sensational Gloss, and ColourPop’s Highlighter in shade Glazed.

Throwback Thursday: Pink Hair

162

Since I rocked my pink hair a few months before I started this blog, I thought I would do a Throwback Thursday post about it. Aside from my blonde, it’s my most favorite hair color I’ve ever had. I definitely want to go pink again sometime in the future. I got this done at the salon, and it was quite expensive. I washed my hair two to three times a week, and the color lasted about a month. I think next time I might try to dye it myself, as a cheaper alternative, although it probably won’t look as good.

100 Followers! + Shopping Trip

179

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who has followed me so far! I have now passed 100 followers! I opened this blog two and a half months ago, and I was nervous that nobody would be interested and I would be talking to myself. I didn’t think I would gain this many followers in such a short time. I do admit I get down on myself sometimes because I see other bloggers who started theirs around the same time (or even after me), and they have twice as many followers now. I have to remind myself that it’s not a competition or a popularity contest. As long as I’m having fun doing what I’m doing (which I am), then that’s what matters. Of course I want people to like and be interested in what I have to say. I think that’s something we all want. I’m just glad I’ve been able to continually grow my blog.

Yesterday, I went to the mall on a little shopping trip. I honestly can’t remember the last time I went to the mall. As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m a bit of a homebody. I also like shopping at stores that we don’t have in the mall here, so I tend to buy everything online. Well, I attempted to buy jeans online a while back too, and that didn’t work out so well. It’s a shame too because I absolutely loved those jeans, but despite being the size I normally wear, I couldn’t pull them up over my butt. From that moment, I decided any time I needed new jeans I would have to try them on before I bought them. That’s what triggered my trip to the mall. I’ve been wearing the same jeans for about a decade now. They got to the point where I couldn’t wear them much longer. There were big holes in the butt (where I had to wear a long shirt to cover it), and rips up the leg. I needed new jeans, asap.
